The sword is the soul. Study the soul to know the sword. Evil mind, evil sword.
This is badass. Anyone know the movie?
Dad, can I stay longer than 4:00 ? Isabelle’s mom said if I can stay longer, then she can take us to the mall to meet up with Dashawn and Tucker to hang out for a little. Because we have to go pick up Austin from his drving lesson at 2:00. 6/20/11 <3
I’d like to propose an analogy. How like life is like a running back. When you find the thing to do you have to hit the hole hard and do it hard and fast.
You virtually have to cancel all relationships and reset yourself. Just you and God. Go away get inside yourself. How do you do that while trying to maintain relationships you want to keep in your life. How do you go through the fire without burning up everyone you know? figuratively speaking.
there are many, many reasons for that but one that needs to be considered. Anthropologists know. … something about man’s (the male) psychological need to face danger, to fight, to risk. That it’s hardwired into the male psyche. How all throughout history life in general offered various and many situations for men to face danger. Pioneering new lands, new territories, facing dangers of man and beast. Even in ‘civilized’ societies there were ample opportunities for men to feed that need to be in danger. The further civilized we became as a race, the more we conciously and deliberately eliminated any element of danger and risk from day-to-day life. The death of the “Frontier” began the extinction of any real unknown territory. By 18??, we had circumnavigated the globe, we had conquered all land. We had mapped every crack and crevice of the earth and the sea. We had named and categorized every star and any blink and glow in the sky …of any relevance. There is, for the first time in history, no where else to go. It is a deeply depressing thought for the wild explorer deep inside every man. We pace, like the tiger in a zoo, back and forth in our “cage”. To work, back home, to the weekend BBQ and your sister-in-law’s, to work…. The only “jungle” now is the internet. There, you go out looking for adventure. You can “lurk” in the shadows and stalk or be stalked. The problem is, there is no real sense of danger. Gambling sites are huge business and attract a lot of surfers, but you don’t actually lose money there. The one risk that actually has real-life consequences is cheating. Men, who in their life have not had a chance to be dangerous, to live in the red, will always be looking for that rush of danger. New, better ways to find danger. “Remaining men together” is not gonna give you the rush of danger. “Fight Club” on the other hand….
